The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center will be hosting the Charlotte Jazz Festival from April 17-23. There are a number of amazing artists coming, but the featured guest this year is Jazz and Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. They will be doing their celebration of Dizzy Gillespie. Many members of the band will also be doing small group performances. If you are at all into jazz you really need to get tickets to this great festival.
