Today there was an early April Fools joke from the Charlotte Independence, and it was pretty good! Randy Moss, yes the Randy Moss of NFL fame, was announced as the local USL soccer team’s new goalkeeping prospect. He even took pictures in the locker room and held a press conference. If you haven’t heard much about the Independence while here in corporate apartments in Charlotte, it is our local soccer team and is an affiliate of the Colorado Rapids. You should definitely catch a game…even though you won’t see Moss in goal.
